Tanganku Tanganmu
Tanganku Tanganmu or in English also means My Hand Your Hand is a 8-panel installation of acrylic sheets placed in alternate colour meant to address the topic of human contact or physical interaction and/or connection in the age of technology advancement. In this work, it is looking mainly at mobile phones as the catalyst to address the issues. By displaying a series of hands unveiling the gestures of people playing with their phone in the process of deterioration, it offers a more open discussion towards the viewer's interpretation. It can also acts as a metaphoric meaning to emphasise on the current decadence on the society. Over the prints, some physics equations were superimposed with the drawings to add more layers of reading to the work. As a continuation research from my previous work, The Theory of Everything has then evolved to even a more complex equations in this work.
